Craftsmanship
Emmé jewellery unites traditional goldsmithing craftsmanship with modern technology. Each design is sculpted entirely by hand in wax rather than created using 3D printing technology, as is common with much of today's jewellery. The subtle irregularities celebrate an unconventional kind of beauty, allowing every piece to reflect individuality. Every detail—down to the delicate claw settings that hold each gemstone—is carefully shaped by hand.
With respect for our planet and a deep commitment to sustainability, I collaborate with a small network of local artisans, each specialising in a different stage of the making process, all within walking distance of my studio. Being closely involved in every step allows me to oversee the quality of each piece, support local craftsmanship, and honour traditional jewellery making while embracing a contemporary approach. Together, we continually seek thoughtful and unconventional solutions that meet the highest ethical and environmental standards.
Materials
Most Emmé jewellery is crafted in 14k gold (585). Every piece is hallmarked with my maker's mark, "RP", together with the official Czech hallmark, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of the precious metal.
One of the greatest qualities of precious metals is that they can be recycled indefinitely. Because gold is both rare and irreplaceable, I place great emphasis on minimising material waste throughout the making process. Every tiny fragment of gold and polishing dust is collected, refined and transformed into something new. The same applies to your own unworn jewellery, ready to begin another story.
Gemstones
I work exclusively with natural gemstones sourced from trusted suppliers. Every stone is selected personally and with great care. Beyond quality, cut and colour, I also look for something less measurable: a stone's unique character. The delicate inclusions formed over thousands of years are often what make a gemstone truly one of a kind.
